Meet Nathalie, a young widow who is doing everything she can to care for her five children. Her husband passed away on September 4, 2025, leaving Nathalie to provide for the family on her own.

The family has pulled together to help meet their daily needs. Her eldest child, age 16, left school to help support the family and care for his four younger sisters. Her 14-year-old daughter works in a community garden, while her 12-year-old daughter, who is in her final year of primary school, helps her mother care for her two youngest sisters, ages 4 and 2.

To earn an income, Nathalie sells vegetables by the roadside. She is proud of her children's willingness to help, but it saddens her that some of them had to leave school to support the family.
