Kadjiatou was born in 2015.  Her father died in 2023.  Her mother is blind and returned to her natal village after her husband passed away.

Kadjiatou is the oldest of three children.  Kadjaitou is visually impaired and one of her younger siblings is also visually impaired.

Kadjiatou attends a school for the visually impaired where she is learning to read and write in Braille.  The school is residential and she goes home to her aunt's house during the Christmas break and the summer vacation.

Kadjiatou is redoing the first grade this year (2024 - 2025).  She loves to go to school.
