Since then, her mother has worked tirelessly to provide for her children by selling vegetables in front of their home. Despite her determination, her earnings are not enough to meet even the family's most basic needs. Both children were enrolled in school, but this year Amdiatou's brother had to leave school because their mother could no longer afford the tuition fees. The financial and emotional burden of providing for her family weighs heavily on her shoulders.
