This is Abdoul Salam.  He was born on April 27, 2017.  He comes from a Muslim family.  He lives with his parents and his three siblings in a small home that does not have running water or electricity.  Neither one of his parents has a regular job, but they have a small farm where they grow the food that they will eat throughout the year.  Abdoul Salam loves to play soccer with his friends and siblings.  He dreams of becoming a teacher when he grows up.

Abdoul Salam was born a deaf mute.  Because of his handicap and his culture, Abdoul Salam can be seen as a curse on his family.  He will not have many opportunities in life, but you have a chance to help him get an education and show him that he is loved by God and by you!
